Sound objects

Sound objects I am working on a new series of physical sound objects. In these works, the materiality of sound is the starting point for an investigation of both the sounding possibilities of the materials and their properties with regard to meaning. This work reflects on the relationship between art, technology, physics and the inherent history of materiality.

The Sound of the Akerselva River

The Sound of the Akerselva River In the project The Sound of the Akerselva River, complex sound phenomena are investigated through a collection of field recordings of water sounds. This collection examine the connections between water, history and site-specific sound. The recordings start in July 2021.
